SAIC Volkswagen Wins EAC Innovation Seat Award, Global Kids's Craftsmanship Behind the Scenes

From June 4 to 6, 2025, the EAC2025 Automotive Industry Conference and Exhibition will be held at Hangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. The event features three major themes: intelligent driving, interiors and cockpits, and new energy and thermal management. It includes 18 exhibition zones such as systems & brands, testing equipment, core components, seats & interiors, vehicle displays, LiDAR & imaging, HUD & IMS, embodied AI robots, and millimeter-wave radar. Over 400 leading global companies and 2,000+ innovative technologies and products will be showcased, with more than 500 industry experts sharing insights.
During the event, Global Kids and SAIC Volkswagen announced exciting news: their co-developed “Tianfu PLUS Child Safety Seat,” featuring an advanced restraint structure, received the “Annual Innovative Seat Award.” As a core child seat supplier to SAIC Volkswagen for 15 years, Global Kids integrated automotive safety technology into child mobility scenarios through full-process forward development and rigorous validation.
The selection emphasized intelligence, lightweight design, comfort, and cost innovation, incorporating both professional evaluation and public voting. Twelve companies with breakthrough innovations were awarded, including SAIC Volkswagen, Great Wall Motors, Yanfeng International, and Zhuojun Group.
The Tianfu PLUS stands out for exceeding the stringent side-impact requirements of the C-NCAP 2024 protocol. Its revolutionary dynamic side-protection system effectively absorbs and disperses impact forces during collisions, significantly enhancing safety and reflecting the partners’ commitment to “zero harm.”
The collaboration between Global Kids and SAIC Volkswagen represents in-depth synergy across product definition, design, and testing. By applying automotive-grade R&D and quality standards, Global Kids continues to promote higher safety benchmarks in the industry.
